I did the cheesy character, Ajay Karat did the coloring & comping.
For May’s show.
I joined the hordes of iPhone Yuppies last night… I lost my Pink RZR somewhere in SF. Actually, it probobably took off from my pocket to frolic with its friends in San Francisco. My friend Teddy put it nicely: “It’s in a happier place now.”
So I bought an iPhone, and snagged Flipbook. It’ll be fun to play with while waiting in line, on the pooper, or stuck in massive traffic.

Overseas customers used to come into the store and ask for the “iPhone four-jigga” or “iPhone eight-jigga”, referring to the size (4gb or 8gb). Now they come in and get confused as to what 3G means… So they ask for “iPhone three-jigga eight-jigga” meaning iPhone 3G, 8gb. Hilarious.
But SketchCrawl went really well, save losing my phone and having to retrace my steps for 2 hours. I went to Pixar, had dinner with Chris Chua and his wife and got reinvigorated.
Just a random doodle based on something witnessed at the local Jamba Juice. I’m off to NH to remember what cold actually feels like.
I think I just got Wordbook running – crossposting from WordPress to Facebook. So this is mostly a test.
These were based on friends & coworkers. Some resemble, some don’t.
I just got back from a week and a half or so vacation back to the Easty Coasty. I spent 3 days Sketchcrawlin’ NYC (while staying at the very lovely & talented Linda Beck’s place in Woodside, and accomplished what is known in animation circles as a “Metric Shit-ton” of drawing. Some of the results, un-Photoshopped for once, flaws n’all. There’s a nice drawing I’m semi-happy with of the 71st St. Woodside 7-line stop that I gave to Linda. I’m just waiting for her to scan it to post.

After NYC, it was down to Forge’s place to piss off his fianceé/new bride at her wedding. Good job, Jimbo. Congrats to the new, happy couple!
After the wedding & general dumbness, I went back up to NH to see the puppies. One of them is having Cancer troubles and has maybe 2-6 months to live. It’s sad, but I’m glad I got to see him for one last time. Maybe I’ll go back in October.
