Nihilism
Lenny
Bruce talks about God as an unnecessary entity. Why believe in one? Whenever I
tire, or hunger, or thirst, a fellow man comes as saviour. Not an invisible
entity.
Bill Hicks talks about a
Living God that lives in each of us, not needing another human interpreter. And
conversations with this Living God are reached through hallucinatory
experiences.
So what purpose does
Faith have in the everyday, save that of a control
mechanism?
Sure I believe in a God.
In my life I have bounced around between Nihilist, Buddhist, Athiest and
Agnostic before settling on my current belief. The idea of Creation is too damn
funny for there not to be a God - the whole Creation/Consciousness issue is a
logic loop.
I am because I can say I
am. This Universe's ruleset exists as it is because it's the only possibility
that could create a Universe like
ours.
So what does it
matter?
And why are all my favourite
philosophers comedians?
So yeah, this
is what I think about when I'm drawing. Which is why I'm not a better
artist.
Jackpot
will be up tomorrah.
