A friend and I started taking beginner Tai-Jutsu classes. It’s extremely humbling. This is probably the only deadly move I’ll ever be able to do.

More sillyness.

Patriotic Timmy Bighand

Two characters I have been playing with, developing small gags around. Timmy Bighand – a kid with a really big hand (and some insecurity issues) and Suzy Backwards, a flighty girl with her head on backwards. Literally.

I’m doing more of these for myself for now, and will be posting.

Raise your hand if you know what Noodling is! If not, here’s some reference.

We did some private-room karaoke on Saturday night, which was an absolute blast. I had the brilliant idea to do the “Sympathy for the Devil” by the Rolling Stones.

Good Lord, I forgot how long that song is.

2009.11.25-SneezingRainbows

Over Thanksgiving, I took a random trip from LA to San Francisco for Turkey Dinner with good friends Mike & Jess. From there, I decided to sojourn out to Yosemite on Friday morning for a short climbing trip.

I forgot to A. Check the weather, and B. Check if I had actually brought a sleeping bag and tent.

Fortunately, a group of climbers I met on Friday afternoon let me stay in their tent and had an extra sleeping bag, solving B. Unfortunately, it started hailing around 4:00 while we were on the rock, dropping to 28F or so.

As a result, I caught a pretty bad sinus infection, and am sneezing multicolored fluids lately. I’m always amazed by the colors of mucus that the body can generate.
